National Museums and Monuments of Zimbabwe Eastern Region says all is set for the eighth edition of the annual Matendera Festival to be held in Buhera District on Thursday and Friday this week.

Marketing officer, Mr Lloyd Makonya said this year's edition will also include a marathon from Dzapasi, a highly significant site in the history of Zimbabwe’s liberation war history.

The festival will host activities like cultural dances such as Jaka which is a prominent dance in Buhera District as well as exhibition of cultural wares and cultural dishes to be served.
