British Minister of State Meets President Mnangagwa

British Minister of state for Africa, Mrs. Harriet Baldwin who is in the country, has reiterated Britain’s commitment to strengthen relations with Zimbabwe, saying her country looks forward to increased mutually beneficial relations with Zimbabwe.

Speaking after meeting President Emmerson Mngangagwa at his Munhumutapa offices today, Mrs. Baldwin also spoke of prospects of reviving trade in the beef and horticultural products between the two countries, as Zimbabwe was once a major supplier of these products to the British.

Mrs. Harriet is set to meet other government officials today and leave for Britain this weekend.
