Zimbabwe’s Consulate in South Africa has been temporarily closed after some workers tested positive for Covid-19.

Addressing members of the media after a Covid-19  Ad Hoc Inter-Ministerial National Taskforce meeting at State House in Harare on Monday, Information, Publicity, and Broadcasting Services Minister Monica Mutsvangwa said the Consulate will in the interim offer its services online.

Minister Mutsvangwa also said negotiations are underway with financial institutions to set up a ticket loan facility for families who wish to repatriate students who have been self-funding their studies abroad.
