Doctors in Manicaland have not joined the strike taking place in other provinces.

Manicaland Provincial Medical Director, Dr Patron Mafaune says doctors in Manicaland have not joined the strike taking place in other provinces  and are carrying out their duties as normal.

She said the medical staff in Manicaland did not consist of junior doctors and to that effect the province has not been affected by developments occurring across the country.

A snap survey by Diamond Fm  in public hospitals around Mutare has shown that medical personnel are carrying out their duties as usual and Patients are being attended to with the urgency they deserve.
