Government says it has a salary increment offer ready for civil servants and it will be tabled at the National Joint Negotiating Council soon.

This was said by Acting Minister of Public Service July Moyo after a meeting between Government and public service staff associations in Harare yesterday.

Minister Moyo said Government acknowledged that civil servants’ salaries had been eroded because of arbitrary price increases by manufacturers and retailers.

Apex Council acting chairperson Mr Thomas Muzondo said civil servants are ready for the National Joint Negotiating Council meeting.
