The Ministry of Industry and Commerce has called on Zimbabweans to shun panic buying of fuel and basic commodities as there are sufficient supplies to meet demand.

Minister of Industry and Commerce Cde Nqovizita Ndlovu said it is imperative for people not to hoard commodities and other essentials as this creates artificial shortages that are inflationary.

Zimbabwe witnessed panic buying and hoarding of basic commodities over the weekend due to speculation over anticipated price increases.
