Malaria claims 11 in January

The Ministry of Health and Child Care says at least 6677 cases of Malaria have been recorded in Manicaland during the period 1 to 27 January this year.

Speaking to Diamond FM, the Provincial Medical Director Dr. Patron Mafaune said 11 people from Chipinge, Makoni and Mutare died from Malaria.

She added that the total number of Malaria cases recorded this year so far is lower than the same period last year.
