The Minister of state for Manicaland Dr Ellen Gwaradzimba has applauded the business community for assisting in renovations of the Mutare Infectious Disease hospital.
Speaking during handover of the Hospital to the Ministry of Health and Child Care by City of Mutare yesterday Dr Gwaradzimba said it is pleasing to note Manicaland is now capacitated to accommodate covid-19 patients adding that however more still needs to be done to fully equip the main hospital wing.
Meanwhile, Mutare Mayor Councilor Blessing Thandi encouraged the Confederation of Zimbabwe Industries Manicaland and other stakeholder to continue complementing government efforts during times of crises.
The renovations were done at cost of $1, 566 220 with the two ventilators already donated for use.
