More than 40000 people in Manicaland register during BVR mop up exercise.

More than 40 000 people have registered during the just closed ZEC Biometric Voter Registration mop-up exercise in all districts of Manicaland.

Figures released by ZEC show that the number of women who registered was higher than men standing at 21 430 against 19 234 .

Meanwhile a total of 1524 people were turned away due to the fact that they did not have the necessary particulars needed to register in  the exercise.

The  Biometric Voter Registration (BVR) mop-up exercise, which is ended  yesterday ,has catered for potential registrants who failed to register in the previous exercise .
