The Town Clerk for Mutare MrJoshua Maligwa says Council has engaged local artisans to help speed up work on the renovations of Sakubva Stadium.

Speaking to Diamond FM on the sidelines of a meeting with Artisans at Mutare Hall yesterday, Mr. Maligwa said the move will also empower local small enterprises and enable them to participate in sprucing up the City.

One of the Artisans Mr Brian Muza hailed the move by council and urged his fellow artisans to form partnerships in order to successfully complete the projects entrusted to them by Council.

The Town Clerk also revealed that Council will soon embark on an exercise to spruce up the Civic Center, The Housing Department Offices in Sakubva, Mutare Hall and Turner Memorial Library as part of efforts to push Mutare towards world class city status.
