Motorists in Mutare have raised concern over poor roads in the city which they say is costing them fortunes in vehicle repairs and putting the lives of road users in danger.

Some of the motorists who spoke to Diamond FM appealed to the city fathers to play their part in repairing the roads as they were paying their road license fees.

A motor mechanical  expert who spoke to Diamond FM explained that vehicles do not last long before motorist begin incurring cost indicating that unrepaired vehicles would then endanger lives on roads.

Meanwhile Mutare City Council Spokesperson Spren Mtiwi says council is filling potholes in the city while waiting for a comprehensive road repair.
