Former South Africa Rugby coach, Peter De Villiers has been appointed head coach of the Zimbabwe national rugby team, the Sables.
De Villiers will be assisted by Brendan Dawson, a former Sables captain and coach, with the two unveiled by Zimbabwe Rugby Union at a Harare hotel on Wednesday morning.
De Villiers coached the Springboks between 2008-2011, a period in which he beat the All Blacks home and away, won the 2009 British and Irish Lions series and the Tri Nations series.
