ZANU PF Political Commissar for Manicaland Cde Gift Kagweda says President Emmerson Mnangagwa is expected to visit Manicaland within the next two weeks.
Briefing the Party’s Provincial Executive Committee in Mutare yesterday, Cde Kagweda said President Mnangagwa is expected to tour the Hydro Power Station in Mutasa North and address Zanu PF supporters at Hauna Airstrip in Honde Valley.
After touring the 28 megawatt power station President Mnangagwa is also expected to travel to Buhera where he will check progress on the construction of Marowanyati Dam.
Cde Kagweda added that although the actual date of the visit is still to be announced, the President will be coming to Manicaland anytime after his visit to Matebeleland North which is scheduled for this Friday.
He added that two organizing committees from Mutasa and Buhera are already in place to prepare for the President's visit.
