Quest Motors is on the verge of clinging major investment deals with two global vehicle manufacturing companies, which will see the Mutare-based company extending its trading wings into the African continent.
Company operations manager Carl Fernandes told Manicaland provincial Minister Dr Ellen Gwaradzimba during her tour of the company premises, that once the deals are sealed, his company will be looking forward to export cars to Mozambique, Zambia and later across the continent.
Quest Motors CEO Mr Tom Sarimana however highlighted that his company is faced with foreign currency challenge.
Quest Motors is operating below five percent capacity with only 120 people working under its roof and minister Gwaradzimba has promised to come up with a plan to rescue the company.
