Heavy rains are now being experienced in most parts of Manicaland , with the roof of a vending facility at Sakubva Musika being partially blown by the Cyclone Idai induced rains.
No reports of Injuries have been reported but vendors have requested that council fixes the property as soon as possible.
Earlier today the Civil Protection Unit in Manicaland convened an emergency meeting to assess potential risk that might arise from Cylone Idai.
The meeting included non governmental organisations, all government departments and development partners.
Officials in Chipinge district told Diamond FM Mount Selinda is also under heavy rains since last night.
Meanwhile Meteorological Services Department says it will continue to monitor the trajectory of Tropical Cyclone IDAI and keep the public informed of any developments.
