President Emmerson Mnangagwa has revealed that the Sakubva Urban renewal project has been given national status to allow the facilitation, quick implementation and completion of the project.

Speaking during the ground breaking ceremony at Sakubva flea market today, President Mnangagwa hailed the partnership between BancABC and city of Mutare adding that 19 years after the imposition of illegal sanctions by Western countries, it was important for the country to mobilise local resources to spearhead development.

Sakubva is the first residential area in Mutare to benefit from the program whose aim is to build going up to accommodate more families.
