The Minister of state for Manicaland, Senator Monica Mutsvangwa urged ZANU PF supporters to desist from violent activities, indicating that peace during  and after elections is paramount for national development.

Senator Mutsvangwa made the remarks at rallies held at Nhedziwa and Mhandarume in Chimanimani, where she was aiding campaigns for parliamentary candidate for Chimanimani West Cde Nokuthula Matsikenyere.

As the campaign trail draws close to the July 30 harmonised elections, she called for unity within the party, urging supporters to vote for Cde Emmerson Mnangagwa, for servant leadership and national development.
