A woman who was injured by an elephant in Marange soon after the death of a school teacher on Sunday remains admitted at Mutare Provincial Hospital.

Dorothy Muchacha she survived the elephant attack which left her seriously wounded.

Mean while Parks and wild life Spokesperson Mr. Tinashe Farawo said that there is an elephant over population in Save Conservancy where the animals are escaping from and there soon could be a transfer of excess  elephants to other Parks where there is under population to manage the situation.
