Two men from Hwechuma village under Chief Nyashanu will spend the next 18 months in jail after they were convicted of assaulting police officers and resisting arrest.
Most and Morris Hwechuma appeared before Murambinda magistrate Tapiwa Kuhudzai, admitting that they unleashed dogs and assaulted constables Obert Kambewu and Fungai Chiminya who intended to arrest them for rape charges.
