Zimbabwe A clinch series win against Kenya

Zimbabwe 'A'  clinched a series win over Kenya with a 7 wicket victory at Mutare Sports Club today. The win gives Zimbabwe an unassailable 3-nil series lead going into the fourth one day match on Sunday.

Zimbabwe A won the toss which was delayed due to rain and elected field.

They went on to restrict Kenya to 145 all out in 39 overs.

Opener alex Obanda top scored for Kenya with 39 runs while Collins Obuya was the second highest scorer for the vistors with 24 runs.

For ZImbabwe 'A' 20 year old Brandon Mavuta starred with the ball for the second consecutive game picking up 3/31.Chris Mpofu and Tino Mutombodzi took 2 wickets each respectively. 

In Zimbabwe 'A's innings Cephas Zhuwao was belligerent with bat for the third consecutive match reaching 46 in just 20 balls. Tari Musakanda knocked an unbeaten while Ryan Murray contributed 40 runs as Zimbabwe 'A' reached 148/3 in 24.5 overs.

Zimbabwe 'A's seven wicket victory gives them an opportunity for a series whitewash in the fourth and final match on Sunday. Kenya's tour of Zimbabwe will then wrap up on Monday with a Twenty20 match at Mutare Sports Club on Monday.
