Zimbabweans warned against possible Covid19 second wave

National Response to the Covid-19 pandemic Chief Co-ordinator, Dr Agnes Mahomva has warned of a possible second wave of the coronavirus.

She added that health authorities are worried about the disregard of safety regulations in the country.

In an interview with Zimpapers Radio News Dr Mahomva appealed to the public not to be complacent in the fight against Covid-19.


Neighbouring countries such as South Africa are seeing resurgence in Covid-19 cases.

As at 18 October 2020, Zimbabwe had 8 147 confirmed cases, including 7 678 recoveries and 231 deaths.
