Chipinge Town Council says the rehabilitation of its water tanks has been completed with the laying of 500mm pipes now at an advanced stage.
Outgoing council chairman Mr. Lovemore Mkwapati said the three tanks and one booster station are ready to receive water, a development which he says will curtail the 1.5 mega liters short supply of water in the town. The project which is to benefit areas including Gaza E, ZBS, Medium and low-density areas, and the town area was carried out to the tune of US$1.9 million.
