A local organization has been applauded for initiating climate change adaptation and mitigation strategies for local farmers in Chimanimani district, harnessing production of traditional grains.During Chimanimbeu seed fair at Mhakwe Primary School in Chimanimani yesterday, District Development Coordinator Mr Joseph Manyurapasi expressed gratitude to TSURO Trust for the initiative, saying it is in line with the national development strategy 1 aimed at ensuring a food secure middle class economy by 2030.TSURO Trust Programs Officer Roseline Mukonoweshuro said the annual seed fair is paramount as it enables farmers to secure high quality traditional grains seeds as it comes barely few months before onset of the rainy season.
