The Agricultural and Rural Development Authority (ARDA) says they have recorded winter wheat bumper harvest from the 22 pilot irrigation schemes which the authority was mandated to manage by the government across the country. ARDA Chief Executive Officer Tinotenda Mhiko said through the schemes ARDA harvested 314,89ha which have yielded 1543 tones of wheat which will all be delivered to the Grain Marketing Board. He further indicated that the harvest is expected to end during the first week of November this year.
