Tomato hectarage has increased in Manicaland owing to adequate inputs and enough water supply in farms across the province. Manicaland horticultural specialist Douglas Nzarayebani said most farmers are already transplanting their nurseries to continue producing more for the market, further calling for establishment of tomato processing plants in the province to value add the produce.
