Livestock farmers in Samanga A, Honde Valley have appealed for assistance in the provision of dipping chemicals to curb diseases affecting goats and sheep in their community. Farmers’ representative Bishoni Mubare said several farmers cannot afford to buy the expensive chemicals, a situation which is leading to loss of livestock to diseases during this rainy season. He also emphasized on the need to educate farmers on the correct way of administering the chemicals.
