Zimbabwe Farmers Union(ZFU) is urging tobacco farmers in Manicaland to finalize preparations for the selling of their tobacco as auction floors are set to open soon. ZFU Provincial Manager Dennis Chisevure says that farmers of the golden leaf should do all the necessary preparations so that they do not encounter challenges transporting and getting paid for their tobacco when the auction floors opens, further encouraging them to also play their part in planting trees in light of climate change as tobacco curing requires a lot of wood.
