A local film producer says lack of funding remains a major challenge in the local film production Industry, making the country lose talent to foreign industries. Vuvuzela Visual Studios film producer, Martin Zvaidaishe Makaya said the challenge will continue to drag the local industry behind expected regional and international standards thereby negatively affecting audience’s buy-in, further calling for resilience among players in the industry. Meanwhile, Makaya is set to release a short film titled Kudakwashe on the 9th of April.
