Commercial farmers in Manicaland have started receiving harvesting machinery from AFC leasing company for the harvest of small grains among other crops. Chief director in the Department of Agricultural Engineering, Mechanization and Soil Conservation, Engineer Edwin Zimunga said the machinery is meant to cushion farmers without collateral but with potential by creating a conducive environment that maximize their agriculture yields. He added that there has been an overwhelming uptake of the harvesting machinery as a result of their flexible payment terms.
