A local organization that works to protect children from all forms of abuse has revealed that child abuse reports in Manicaland have dropped since the relaxation of the Covid-19 lockdown level four under which schools reopened. Youth Alive Zimbabwe Projects Officer Leon Chinaka said despite the decline, child abusers remain present, urging children to speak out if they fall victim.
