Zim called to be alive to the Stockholm +50 Conference

Zimbabweans have been urged to participate in the national consultations of the Stockholm +50 conference to promote global collaborations in addressing climate, environment and development issues. In a speech read on his behalf by Chief Director Environment and Climate Services Professor Prosper Matondi during the launch of of the national consultations of the Stockholm + 50 Initiative yesterday, Minister of Environment, Climate, Tourism and Hospitality Industry Honourable Mangaliso Ndlovu said the consultations will help accelerate national guidelines that protects the environment and climate, emphasizing that they are not limited to policy makers but open for everyone to ensure that no one is left behind. The Stockholm +50 International Conference will be held from 2nd to the 3rd of June 2022 in Sweden with aim to examine environmental problems and identify those that require international cooperation to solve.
