Chipinge residents called on their local authority to resolve the issue on a compactor recently procured which they claim is obsolete. Those that spoke expressed displeasure over the matter calling for transparency in Chipinge town council dealings. The new defunct compactor was purchased for 13 million rtgs which was then equivalent to usd 72 000 at interbank rate.
