Entities in the extractive sector in Manicaland have been implored to value-add minerals within the province to grow the GDP. Manicaland Secretary for Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Mr Edgars Seenza said this during a tour of Max-mind Zimbabwe PVT LTD Lithium Mining Site, where he applauded the entity for its plan to set up a plant for value addition at the mine adding that it will boost the local economy. He added that value adding lithium at Mukwasi will have various positive economic downstream benefits for surrounding communities and the province at large.
